Who is Ponds and Beyond?
Ponds and Beyond founded by Jim Barry in 1992. Prior to 1992 Jim as a young child played in a neighbor's water - garden. At the age of five years old, successfully constructed his own backyard pond. Tragically, Jim lost his parents at a young age. Dealing with a truma, loneliness and life's challenges, he often found temporary relief playing in streambeds, bogs and ponds. Through God's grace and love, Jim found his life passion. He repeatedly referred to the bible for comfort.
Psalm 23: 2 had resonated with him "He leads me besides quiet waters, he restores my soul."
The passion still exist 28 years later, Ponds and Beyond with its associates manage; hundreds of ponds, bogs and wetlands providing key essential services to its customers. Ponds and Beyond is located in Upstate New York and provide pond services in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Vermont. Ponds and Beyond customers are public and private institutions, golf courses, parks and recreation areas and private ponds. Jim has a background in Environmental Sciences, aquaculture/biotechnology , training in wetland delineation certifications with concentration in biologicals, Ponds and Beyond treatment plans are focused on treating the bodies of water naturally.
